"From the off, the Incuba couldn't do enough for us and were so friendly and proactive with suggestions. It made the whole planning process much more straightforward. Being the first sale at a new venue the committee and I were all so nervous but soon put at ease by the welcome we got from the team at The Incuba.
We really did take over the whole building it seemed, but nothing was too much trouble for the team. Helping direct people to the car park and overflow car park was such an enormous help. I don't think I heard one bad thing about the parking facilities; in fact there seemed nothing but praise for the amount and quality of parking available, and the awesomeness of the venue." - NCT Nearly New Gold Standard sale, May 2016
The Incuba is Dunstable's centre for business success - with a clear focus on supporting the green economy. Our facilities include offices for rent, meeting rooms, a demonstration area and a café which provides a modern environment. We also provide support to encourage business growth.
The Incuba was created by Central Bedfordshire College, in association with the European Regional Development Fund and Central Bedfordshire Council.
Ali Hadawi CBE, College Principal & Chief Executive, said: "The Incuba is a collaborative approach to bringing business, education and local government together to promote business and a better environment - with the support of the European Regional Development Fund."
Sir Vince Cable praises College's business know-how
The Business Secretary was at an event to celebrate the success of The Incuba, built and managed by Central Bedfordshire College in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Sir Vince Cable praised the college's new Business and Innovation Centre in April 2014 as a prime example of how further education works with businesses to promote employment and prosperity. Ali Hadawi CBE, principal of the college, said: “It was a fantastic event and particularly pleasing that Dr Cable, in his speech, said the college is setting an example to other colleges in the way it is contributing to the economy. “The Incuba stands as a demonstration of how the college is absolutely committed to its wider purpose of creating opportunities from which the whole community can benefit.”
